The Destructive Side of MTV Brazil

The MTV was one of the main music promotion around the world. In this TV channel bands could promote your music and to get some audience. But sometimes it didn't work like that. The way some bands were showed could pushed the public away.

So many VJ's (according their opinion or by company determination) used to show some bands as superior for very strange reasons, excluding their quality and the ability of musicians. This behavior was common in Brazilian bands. But on the other hand, some artists were introduced during programming, and it justifies their wide audience.

Everyone was at a disadvantage. The MTV was inconvenience with excesses; the artists didn't grow their audience and the viewers didn't have the opportunity to meet many bands.

The MTV's legacy is indisputable, but this unfounded exaggeration has only turned audiences away from artists.
